Commercial Experience
Roger Nguyen has become a sought-after photographer of
commercial
interiors, food and tabletop designs. His portfolio
includes
breathtaking images of the hottest restaurants in the country,
including
Tamarine Restaurant, Butterfly Embarcadero, and the 18,000 sq. ft.
Crustacean
Restaurant and Prana Lounge in Las Vegas which was named Esquire
Magazine's
Best Restaurant Design of the Year for 2003.
Roger is completing a marketing brochure project for Zingari
Ristorante.
Roger is respected among design and photography
professionals.
For the past two years, Roger has been the primary photographer for
Dining
By Design, a design industry fundraiser which benefits UCSF AIDS
Research.
He captures lavishly decorated tables for designer portfolios and for
the
organization’s marketing materials. His work has appeared in
Paper
City Magazine, Where, 7x7 Magazine.
Roger has produced numerous images for print advertising as well as web
multimedia
for his clients. He composes creative and beautiful production
stills
while following client specifications. He is gifted in working
with
and communicating with his models to get the required shot.
Roger works with a team of talented film and digital photographers who
assist
him as needed. This enables him to take on large assignments and
location
shoots. When working on a team project, Roger oversees all
aspects
of the shoot and produces the primary shots for his clients. He
also
oversees all aspects of print production in order to meet his own
stringent
criteria.
